# 403 on save

 * Hello. After the latest update, I’m getting 403 mesages when I try to save table
   entries. I did a search for ‘TablePress’ in the ‘posts’ table of my SQL DB. The
   only result was this one (sorry it’s messy ;-):

 * Where are the entries for this table. You can see that there is one entry under“
   Opportunity” “Lessons in Leadership with Ted Lasso & More” which has no link.
   This is because, when I try to enter the link, I get a 403 error.
 * Which part of the plugin, or database, do I need to relax permissions for, so
   that it will work.

 * thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
 * I’m afraid that this HTTP 403 error indicates a server configuration problem,
   that is outside of the control of TablePress.
   Here, your server’s security or
   firewall software are configured too strictly. They don’t seem to like something
   about the data that is sent from your browser to the server (it could be the 
   structure, the size, or even the content of the data). This then triggers a security
   rule (because that software falsely thinks that an attack is happening) and the
   request is blocked with that “403 Forbidden” server error.You would need to get
   in touch with the server admin or the webhost’s support team here. They should
   be able to find the exact cause, and the rule that triggered this, in their server
   error log files. Then, they can adjust the configuration so that the false positive
   is no longer triggered.

 * The strange thing is that I can make a simple text change in the table cell, 
   but I cannot insert an HTML link. Do you think that the database could be rejecting

 * Hi,
 * that’s what I meant with “even the content of the data” above. It seems that 
   your server’s firewall or security software (not the database!) doesn’t like 
   HTML code in the transferred data. I can only recommend to ask the web host’s
   support team for help, as indicated above.
