403 (forbidden) error when submitting poll (An error has occured)

  • Hello! First off, EXCELLENT plugin. Ran into an issue, though, when using on a server that runs ssl for the admin section of the site.

I have Yop-Polls running perfectly on our dev site, but the production site throws the ambiguous “An error has occurred” message on submission (loads fine before-hand). The wp-admin side of the prod server is running over https and after further investigation, sends the following js error:

    GET http://mysite.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=yop_poll_load_js&id=2&location=widget&unique_id=_yp5320cf4952530&ver=4.9.1 403 (Forbidden)

I assume there is a function or code bit I can change to let the plugin know that “http” should be “https”?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
