My client’s site has been up all day but in the past hour its not accessible. The site files exist, the DB is in tact, I’m able to PING it and do a TRACEROUTE with no problem. The client does not have FTP access to the server. The domain has not expired. Any ideas and suggestions?

Your DNS points to mail.bluewaveconcepts.com so ask your host what’s up; looks like someone goofed.

all my sites that I host do and all my other sites are accessible. you’ll see that if your look up bluewaveconcepts.com

I don’t know what your other sites are, and you didn’t say you own bluewave. If it’s your server at linode, you’ve got permission problems for that site in its directory or in its virtual host configuration. That’s a server issue and not particularly WordPress.
