# 403 errors when committing

 * I noticed that there are a lot of other posts on this topic, but they all seem
   to have been resolved by wordpress.
 * I’m receiving the following error when trying to commit:
    $ svn ci -m ‘Update
   the plugin’ –username Xxxxx –password Xxxx svn: Commit failed (details follow):
   svn: MKACTIVITY of ‘/!svn/act/3057393f-7ed2-4900-877e-862b357c0ae6’: 403 Forbidden(
   [http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org](http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org))
 * I’m not having a problems with any other svn function (adding tags, etc…)
 * Any ideas?

 * Do you have camelcase in your plugin name? Like is it fooBar or foobar?

 * The plugin name is not camelcased. I have been able to commit in the past without
   any issues.

 * I am having the same problem getting the 403 error when committing. I can checkout
   and pull updates with no problems, but committing won’t work at all. I think 
   I’ll email [plugins@wordpress.org](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/403-errors-when-committing/plugins@wordpress.org?output_format=md)
   too.
