 * I just ‘UN-mapped” my domain

 * I want to use my self-hosted site again. I checked the whois.com
    [http://www.whois.com/whois/quietramblings.com](http://www.whois.com/whois/quietramblings.com)
 * it says that my site is back with Hostgator. I spoke with hostgator they say 
   it is propagating properly. However, I am getting this error message and want
   to make sure everything is fine.
 * When I cancelled the domain mapping from wp.com I didn’t get an email to confirm
   cancellation (not sure if i was supposed to rcv one or not)
 * Long story short. Is the domain mapping cancelled and why does this message keep
   appearing when I goto my quietramblings.com

 * Looks like you just recently changed the nameserver settings for your domain 
   name – and those can take from a day to a few days to take effect. So probably,
   you’ll have to just be patient. Check in a few hours.

 * ok. so it was done properly and it still in the setting up process? correct, 
   I just returned the nameservers back to hostgator, my apologies, forgot to mention
   that.
 * I did clear my cache and cookies (several times, just to be sure)
 * just wanted to make sure I didn’t mess it up or anything. That message

 * I don’t get that, but if you want to make sure it’s all okay, you need to ask
   on the WordPress.COM forums about that part of it.

 * Thank you for the help. The issue was resolved the next morning. I just had to
   be patient.
