 * When trying to proceed with a PayPal payment I am getting the following error
   on the checkout page.
 * “Something went wrong, please select another payment method”
 * I searched the ModSecurity logs and found the below 403 error, it seems that
   your request is missing the proper nonce value, thus it is considered malicious.
 * “Request: POST /?wc-ajax=ppc-create-order
   Action Description: Access denied with
   code 403 (phase 2).Justification: Test ‘TX:ANOMALY_SCORE’ against ‘@ge %{tx.inbound_anomaly_score_threshold}’
   is true.”

 * Hello [@dimath99](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dimath99/)
 * Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.
 * You might want to try to disconnect and onboard your PayPal account once again
   using the connect wizard (blue button “Activate PayPal”). The issue could be
   caused by your account details not being stored correctly on the site and this
   causing an access issue for your account (requests not being accepted by the
   PayPal server).
 * Another thing you can try is to deactivate all other plugins (except PayPal Payments
   and WooCommerce) and see if there is another plugin causing a conflict.
 * Please see if that helps and let us know if you got it resolved.
 * Kind regards,
   Joost

 * Hi,
 * I tried all the suggested solutions, but the problem remains. It seems that there
   is an issue with the post request.

 * Hello [@dimath99](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dimath99/)
 * The error “SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘” is often caused by the wrong details
   being sent to PayPal. This can be caused by the account details not being correct
   in the plugin or another plugin affecting the details being sent to PayPal. You
   already tried to onboard your account, so that is not the cause. Can you do a
   test purchase when you have all other plugins turned off (except WooCommerce
   and PayPal Payments) and replace the theme with the default Storefront theme.
 * If that does not help, you might want to open a private ticket with us, so you
   can share logs and the system report with us, so we can take a closer look. If
   you don’t feel comfortable sharing those details on a public forum, please open
   a ticket with our service desk. You can find the instruction for this here: [https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/](https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/)

   please add the URL of this thread in the ticket as well)

 * Hello [@dimath99](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dimath99/)
 * Yesterday we created a fix that most likely resolved the issue that is causing
   the error “SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘, “<!DOCTYPE “……”. This fix will
   be included in our next release (2.0.4), but you can also try our beta release
   to test this fix now. You can download the [current beta version here](https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-paypal-payments/releases/tag/2.0.4-rc1).
 * Please let us know if that fixed your issue and if we can mark this thread as
   resolved.
 * Kind regards,
   Joost

 * Hello,
 * since we did not receive any response or follow-up questions from you, we will
   assume you got this working to your requirements. If you still have any more
   questions for us, please open a new thread, because we will mark this one as
   resolved.
 * Kind regards,
   Joost
