  • yup.

You can have many installs…in root, in their own folders, etc

Just give each it’s own database, or if thats not an option, or you don’t want to, give each install its own prefix in the DB

    Hi Rev. Voodoo

I want to do the same. Do I need to move the files from the initial installation into it’s own Directory e.g. a directory called ‘Main’ and put the second install in ‘Blog? This seems to break everything when I try 🙁

Do I need to do this before I run either WP installation?

Jens – Did you manage to achieve this?

    Thanks!

    Chris

My question also. I have wordpress on website.com/blog and want to put also install it on website.com. I use fantistico to install from my hostgator cpanel. Is that all I do, or is there something else to

    give each it’s own database

    ?

@girlygurl when you install from fantatico the program will create a new database for each install.

    Ok, thank you.
