Protect page and folder with same login

I´ve been searching but haven’t found a good answer, so here’s a question.

I have a page with PDF files that I want to password protect.
Visitors shouldn’t be able to nether enter the page or direct link to the files without a password.

Is there a way to protect a page (not an entire site) and a folder with files on the server, with the same login?
