    Hello,

I have used your plugin with an Elementor site. However, on most posts I know get an invalid argument even when not using the shortcodes inside the sharing section. When I place my own ‘this is a test’ text it also gives me invalid argument.

I first thought it was because of the content containing invalid arguments, but that couldnt be the issue. How to fix? I already reinstalled the plugin without any luck.

    Kind regards,
    MIke

    Hi @defxs,

To clarify you are trying to use your own shortcodes in the share message template? At the moment the plugin doesn’t support custom shortcodes, just our own pre-build shortcodes.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

Not at all. I am just trying to use the default ones, but they arent working. I even tried only post title for debugging without luck.

    Kind regards,

    Hi @defxs,

Thanks for sending the screenshot. Ok this is strange, I haven’t seen a report this like this before. Have you tried disabling other plugins and seeing if the share works?

When you get that error: invalid argument is that shown on the screen when you try and share the post?

How old is this post or is it a pretty new post? Have you tried re-authenticating the plugin by clicking the connect button in the plugin settings? Thanks,

    Hello,

We have tried to reset the plugin and connect again, but that did not help. The message is shown when I am trying to share a post on the editor page of a single post.

I tried old post and fairly new posts (couple of days old) without any luck.

    Kind regards,

    Mike

    Hi Mike,

Ok it might be worth doing a plugin isolation test if possible by deactivating all other plugins and then trying. Thanks,

I already tried that, but that did not help.

Ok in this case I am not sure sorry. You may wish to consider getting the pro version called AutoSocial which includes more robust support for your specific site to ensure everything works well. If something like this didn’t work on AutoSocial, you would be entitled to your money back.

    Thanks,
