As with other topics with the same subject. I have the same problem with the same presentation as others. Showing you the same video will add no further value.

    In the popup

    Connect to WooCommerce Integration

    Connect WooCommerce Integration to Facebook

upon clicking on “Connect” I am presented with ‘400 Bad Request’ error from this URL: 400 Bad Request (woocommerce.com)

    1. There are no logs since the error is not in my domain
    2. I have adblock disables so my client is not actively blocking any JS execution
3 I have nothing else to tell you, so please ask for information that would be meaningful to you, but not obvious to me.
    4. All plugins are up to date

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I saw the other support message:

    1. There are no logs that feature ‘facebook’ or ‘error’ in their name thus nothing is logged locally. It is a remote issue. Neved mind, I manually enabled logging and this is what it shows:

It is all ‘200’ from my end.
    2. ‘System status’ shows all green.

    Hello vmajor,

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

I understand you’re encountering a common issue that has been reported by others, particularly when attempting to connect WooCommerce with Facebook. A key factor identified in similar cases is the use of Cloudflare, which can sometimes interfere with the connection process.

I suggest disabling Cloudflare temporarily and then attempting to connect again. This will help us rule out any potential interference. Additionally, if you’re using any caching or security plugins, you might want to temporarily disable those as well, just to ensure nothing is blocking the connection.

Let me know how it goes.

    Best regards.

    Thank you for your reply.

    1. I deactivated Cloudflare – both set “Development mode” and enabled “DNS Only”
    2. I Deactivated WP Supercache
    3. I logged in to both my site and facebook in a private browser session

No change. Still get 400 error. Please note that this is not normal behaviour with or without Cloudflare, caching or cookies. It looks like something is not quite right in your communication between Facebook and WordPress while using our credentials.

    Hello vmajor,

    Thank you for your reply.

I appreciate your effort for taking these steps.

Could you confirm if you have two-factor authentication enabled on your Facebook account?
It is a general requirement for the connection process.

Let me know once you’ve confirm, and we can troubleshoot further from there.

    Best regards.

2FA with Meta is not uniformly implemented and yes there is always a secondary verification step, but I am assuming that you mean Meta Business Suite, then yes there is a traditional 2FA enabled for that account.

    Hello vmajor,

    Thank you for your reply.

I have noticed that this is a bug in the latest version of the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin.
Our developers are actively working on a solution and will release a fix soon.
For updates, please check this GitHub link.

    I appreciate your paitence.

    Best regards.

I have the same issue. I see the GitHub link and the address it “should be”.

What do I do now that we know what the issue is?

    Hi @support8181,

Sorry to hear you’re facing a similar issue. As this is a known bug, our developers are already working to address this, therefore, I recommend waiting for an official release, which would mean an update to the current version of the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Any idea on a timeline? I have been trying to use meta pixel for a long time now and have had this issue the entire time. Would it be better to switch out of woocommerce? Or is there a work around that my developer can do?

    Thanks!

    Hi @support8181,

At the moment, we’re unable to share any timelines, however, there’s a recent update of the plugin that was just released a couple of days ago. Do you mind updating to the recent button and checking if the issue persists?

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I have the same issu, do you have updates ?

    support8181

    (@support8181)

I haven’t heard anything from anyone. I have had this issue for a long time. If I would have known that Woocommerce was not compatible with one of the largest Social Media platforms, I would have NOT signed up for this!!! I’ll be jumping ship shortly!

    Hello support8181,

    Thank you for your reply.

I understand your frustration and the inconvenience this issue has caused.

Our development team is aware of the compatibility issue, and they are actively working on a solution. We appreciate your patience and understand how important this is for your business.

If there’s anything else I can assist you with in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

    Best regards.
