Support » Plugin: Post Types Unlimited » 4 columns on desktop, 1 on mobile

  • Hi!
When I set 3 columns (1:1 squares grid) on desktop, 1 column shows on mobile. When I set 4 columns on desktop the view on mobile shows 2 columns. How can I set the plugin to show 4 columns on desktop and 1 column on mobile?
    Thanks!

    Hi,

This plugin only registers post types, there aren’t any extra features for showing the posts on the front-end. So any grid you are using is going to be coming from your theme or 3rd party plugin.

If you are using our Total Theme, the theme always displays 4 column grids as 2 columns on smaller screens for responsiveness and then 1 column on really small screens. You could reset that with a little CSS though. But also, you can disable the auto archive for your post type and simply create a new page with the included WPBakery page builder and then insert the Post Cards element or any other grid element to display your posts so that you have more control over the design. And you can even create templates for your taxonomy archives – https://wpexplorer-themes.com/total/docs/category-taxonomy-template/ – this will give you way more control over the grids where you can use the Post Cards or Post Types Grid elements and select the exact columns you want for your grids.

And if you are using our Total theme and do need some help with the theme please post your questions on the theme support as the forum here is specific to the plugin – https://wpexplorer-themes.com/total/docs/how-to-request-support/ – Thanks!
