• I am using Namecheap as the host and using a Yahoo email as our contact email. But our host blocks this email as a form of spam protection (which is annoying). I want to know what kind of workaround I can do to the plugin to use our Yahoo email, I was advised by their support that it is possible to add our email into the form with a little modification on the code, how can we do this?

    Thanks in advance.

Can’t you just deactivate the spam protection?

I have no idea what they meant.

Unfortunately, I cant. However, I was told that the form’s code can be modified to accept any 3rd party email address.

What I was told that Namecheap have disabled sending any emails with the field ‘FROM; containing email address on the domain that does not exist on their server.

It means our domain is registered through them and if we use email addresses that is not registered on their servers (Yahoo email address), it will be automatically blocked by them when the form tries to send a message. So any email that is not created on the CPanel will get blocked.

You may find this interesting. I am not adept on programming. Please see these:

OK. I think it makes sense. You can edit the From address without modifying any code. See Setting Up Mail.

This is where the problem lies.

This is our current set up, mail header – http://imm.io/106lz
    Sending message – http://imm.io/106lM
    Error – http://imm.io/106lS

Any workaround that you can think of?

I would like to know if this is a lost cause or there is a way to work this around? Either answer would do please.
