Support » Fixing WordPress » 3rd party broadcast email service

  • I have not started using WordPress yet; currently, I use Squarespace, but am considering changing to WordPress.

I use a 3rd party vendor (TouchMailer) for broadcast email services. This service has many features that I use, and plan on continuing to use.

To send a broadcast email, I copy and paste into the broadcast email service provider Wen interface the URL of a Web page that I create separately. With Squarespace, however, when I do this (copy/paste), additional code appears in the header and footer. The code appears to have something to do with the Squarespace hosting.

I’ve contacted Squarespace support, and have been told there is no solution to this issue.

    SO: to my questions:

    1) If I choose to use some of the commercial WordPress themes (for example, StudioPress), will the same issue (unwanted code in header/footer) occur?

    2) If I choose to use some of the Web hosting services that specialize in WordPress hosting (for example, Synthesis), will the same behavior occur?

I appreciate all the input and help on this issue. Many thanks to all of you who read this post.

It would probably show details from your curent host, regardless of what host you use.

Since the mailing list is a 3rd party service, your best bet is to ask them why code is getting injected like that.
