3D secure (SCA) not working on latest version.

Can it be true, that I have to downgrade the plugins to make SCA work?

I’ve been in contact with Stripe and they say its nothing wrong with my Stripe account and setup, and that:
“Upon further checking on this, I’ve checked that the 3D secure is not yet working because you are using a 4.8 of Woocommerce. To have the 3D secure work, you need to downgrade into v4.2 or later version of the WooCommerce Stripe extension.”

“In line with your concern, I’ve checked that you need to contact the WooCommerce directly so they could help you update the integration. Based on my resources, this is not something that you have to do on your end. WooCommerce should do the update on your behalf. Also, based on our documents, the one that needs to be downgraded is the WooCommerce Stripe extension; only WooCommerce can identify if it is the WoCommerce only or the WooCommerce Stripe gateway. “

Hmm, interesting. Are you seeing some sort of error or message that our plugin is not compatible with SCA? If so, can you send a screenshot of that? I recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in your reply.

SCA readiness was made available in version 4.3 of our plugin, released in October 2019, so I’m unsure why it would not be working now.

Also, could you please send me a copy of your site’s system status report? You can find it under WooCommerce > Status in the dashboard. Click “Get system report” and then the “Copy for support” button. Once you’ve done that, paste it into your reply.

This might be due to the Radar rules you have configured in Stripe. See this page for more info:

If you check your Radar rules in Stripe, what do you see there? An example from my test site:

… which I’m fairly sure is the default configuration.

Hi @dkjeabre5. I looked into this issue a bit more and have one question. Are the purchases that don’t go through 3DS for an amount less that 30 euros? If so, this is expected. You can learn more here.
