• I just recently purchased a theme for wordpress and I am trying to make one small edit. The news story on the front page is a widget, that only shows the first 23 words. I want to expand that to show more then 23 words on the front page, but I can not figure out where this is stored. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it. You can see the blog setup at:

    Thank you!

  • thomamon,
Please help us out with the name of your theme + a link to download it. This is a simple fix, but I need to see the code to tell you what to edit.

WSPN3… You can download it here:

Once you DL it, let me know so I can remove it from my server.

    Thanks!

    thomamon,
I downloaded the theme but the functions.php file is encoded to such an extent that I can’t see which function to have you edit. @solutions from here on out:

    1. I know you paid for this theme and making edits to the theme will void your warranty killing your ability to get support directly from the author. To avoid this, please use the support section on their site.

    2. Please upload the “Unbranded version” which – from what I understand – contains no encrypted code.

I don’t care about voiding the warranty, I just want longer news stories, lol. I don’t even see a support section on their site, I was kind of weary buying it because the website didn’t seem kosher, but I loved the theme. Even the read me file that came with it does not mention support at all.

I don’t have an unbranded version, that was almost $50.00 more.
