• HI,

I’ve recently installed this on my wordpress and phpbb. I get an error.

Warning: copy() [function.copy]: Filename cannot be empty in /home/actliam/public_html/index/wp-content/plugins/phpbb-single-sign-on/options.php on line 48

I am unable too locate wpbb in the Auth Method field in either the phpbb3 admin panel nor the options page of WordPress, both wordpress and phpbb3 are in the same database, I have copied all the files correctly and get all green except these:
    Reccomended Current OK ?
    Files
    auth_wpbb.php 0 0 OK
    common.php 0.7 0.7 OK
    common-orig.php – Original OK
    Configurations
    Auth Mode wpbb apache Error
    Wordpress Path Variable forum/ OK

    Any help would be appreciated

  • Did you ever figure this out? I have the same problem

Same error here. I have all OK’s, except the:

    Auth Mode wpbb Error

If I choose wpbb from the auth pop-up (or any of the other options) and click save, nothing changes, still an error. The pop-up will not change from ‘apache’.

Unless WordPress and phpBB are installed into the same database the plugin setup page can’t change phpBB’s auth mode. If you want it to work you’ll have to go into the phpBB forum admin area and go to authentication on the left hand menu. The manually change it to the auth mode of wpbb. Now purge your forums cache and your forum and WordPress will be connected. The only other thing you should know is that in the wordpress and there will be a phpbb plugin warning that you cant get rid of unless they do happen to be installed in the same database.
