[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] How to add this to my template

It works great if I want to add this to my post or page like you show it on your video but when I try to put it in other places like in the head, banner area or foot I have problems.

I think I need more code trying to add it to my template php files to place in the header, banner or foot. It just come out as text.
