Problems with installation

    Hi everyone. I just install WordPress and O got the ERROR message ‘Error establishing a database connection’.
    But I checked the wp-config.php and not found any problem. And PHPMyAdmin is normal working. So anyone can help me to resolve this?

    the error is correct 99.9% of the time – so one of your db values is incorrect in wp-config.php
    if unsure, contact host

    THX. But I’m very sure the database settings is correct. I check three times….

    Create a sample PHP script to check the database connection. Use the same hostname, database username and password and try to connect the database.

    Sometimes this happens if database is corrupted. If the tables are already present in the database then make sure that they are not marked as crashed.

    Thx. But phpbb, phpmyadmin, all ofrhem are normal working…

    and phpbb used same database username and password.

    when wordpress return this. phpmyadmin will display the error count number on status page.
