Actually, this is a two pronged question.

#1. In the administrative panel I set it so that each page holds up to 10 posts. I have posted twice so far, and each post shows up on Its own page! I don’t want that. I want posts 1-10 to appear on the same page, in traditional blog style.

#2. In the administrative panel I selected for the most recent post to show on the front page. This would be the second post I published an hour ago. Instead, my very first post (which was published two days ago) continues to be front and center when my page loads.

  • Have you edited your theme files at all?
You could try disabling the related posts and google adsense plugins

Strangely, I deactivated the Google Adsense plugin and now my Front Page doesn’t show at all! when I go to my page, it directs to the ‘Contact’ page. Egads. Maybe that plugin wasn’t the best choice. This is pretty bad.

just googled my site and now the Front Page dosn’t show up in the search results at all! The ‘Contact’ and ‘About’ subpages are now at the top. The main page used to show as the top result. This is very odd. I do have the most recent, Beta version of WordPress and am wondering if the bugs are theme/version related.
