• Hi all

I managed to set this all up yesterday but wondered if I could get rid of the /blog/ part of the address: http://www.mydomain/blog/lenny
I’m setting up two blogs to go on the main site

    ie: http://www.mydomain/blog/lenny
    http://www.mydomain/blog/clara

I couldn’t get this to work (I’m one of who just keep faffing but useless at coding etc) so I tried putting it back so to speak and I re-uploaded a new config.php file and cleaned out the database (and deleted it a few times etc) but now it lets me log in but I get the
‘no site defined on this host’

how do I sort this – if I’ve re-installed it and it has a new database etc then should this then go back to a clean intall?

thanks for any tips… once I’ve managed to get it running again I promise to not to play around with the directories again 🙂

    update:

I checked my other blog (older WordPress and nothing to do with this domain name or install) and it was down.. so I contacted my host company and they fixed that one.

I’m now getting ‘Error establishing a database connection’
I’ll try re-doing the database and re-install tomorrow… I post up the outcome!
