    (@itmoln)

I am currently trying to push my new WordPress blog, a platform to discuss future cloud services, to the limit when it comes to SEO. I have chosen a theme that is fully integrated in the thoughts and methods on how sites are being crawled.

Because if this, my blog is now rated 1# on Google when searching for the main keyword itmoln (Swedish word for cloud computing)
    .. and this is

before having done any off site work

    and using only

      one post

    placed under

      two pages

    . That’s all there is.

Please take a look and see if you can help me spot anything else that can be tweaked, nudged, pollished or changed for the blog to get even better, regarding SEO! You can look at it as a gathered attempt to finally find out what works, and what don’t.

    Best regards:

    Staffan R.

  • Congratulations on hitting #1 for your keyword. Of course, now that you’ve posted about it on WordPress.org, it appears that the codex is now #1:)

I guess the next step is to figure out which other keywords you want to rank for. And start building more and more links into your site.

congratulations on the SEO, I also use Thematic for my own blog and you can do a million things with it using child themes

Your on site looks all good, now it time to go build some links to go capture more competitive terms
