Archiving Strategies

I use the WP-DPManager plugin for backing up my website at http://www.betterppt.com and it seems to be working fine. However, I often have the need to review the content of a page as it was several months ago and don’t know how to look inside an SQL file to do that. I either need to learn how to access information within an SQL file without performing a full-scale restore, or I seek a plugin that would allow me to export a website to HTML files.

One way or the other, I need to be able to take a snapshot of my website, as it exists today, so that I can refer to it in the future. How do others handle this? Many thanks…
