• Have been using wordpress stats for over a year. I started to notice that my stats were not showing and upgraded the plugin two days ago.

Then it wanted my API key again – I get a message saying it belongs to wordpres.com and the correct blog. I then had to add new blog (not sure why as have been using it).

    Then I get this error

Error from last API Key attempt:
The owner of that API Key (xxxxxxxxxxxxx) is not on the access list for this blog (xxxxxx). To be added to the access list, you must contact support.

Where I have the xxxx this is another blog of mine that is not associated with the one I am trying to upgrade the stats plugin.

I have been to both blogs and checked the API keys and all correct.

Please if you have any ideas I would be so grateful.

  • same problem here…
Anyone have a solution for this?

I set up a blog for someone else and first used my own wordpress.com account because I was lazy. But now I created a new wordpress.com account for that new blog.
I want to change the API-key, but it won’t let me.
