[Plugin: ShowTime Slideshow] Hides all the drop down menu’s

The slideshow is working fine except for the fact that it covers all my drop down menu’s. The menu bar can be seen but all the drop down is covered.
I have tried to find an answer for this on the developers website, and there are a few other people having the same issue with Firefox but apparently it works fine in IE.
I have tried in both suggested modes including transparent but the problem still persists.
If somebody has rectified this can they tell me what I need to do please?
