• I’ve noticed that I can package a theme in two ways.

First, I can create a folder named after my theme, place all my theme files in it, then zip the folder.

However, on occasion, I’ve opened the folder itself, grabbed all the files and then created a zip of the files (not the parent folder). This appears to create the same installable zip file as the previous method.

Does the WP theme installer see a difference in these two approaches?

    What’s preferred?
