FATAL ERROR!!!

Hello Guys!!

Really need your help. I’ve just uploaded two different themes and have gotten fatal error messages on each. The themes are Splix and Grey Dove. The fatal error message for Splix is:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_logout_url() in /home/gatorval/public_html/wp-content/themes/splix.1.0.0/splix/sidebar.php on line 29

and the fatal error message for Grey Dove is:

Call to undefined function post_class() in /home/gatorval/public_html/wp-content/themes/greydove/index.php on line 14

Don’t know exactly what I did wrong. Clicked on “Activate (Theme Name)” and this is what occurred. Your direction regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Try to re-upload both the themes and see if it works or not.

@jasqttganut: You’re using quite an old version of WordPress so many themes will no longer be compatible with your WP version. Try upgrading to 2.9.2.

hey guys i’m having the same problem with the fatal error message. How do I sign into my blog if not through the site which is now down?

Hey guys…

I get this error message every time I try to open the webpage. I can’t access admin log-in, or home page, or anything else for that matter!

“Fatal error: Call to undefined function hybrid_get_prefix() in /home1/gsailorg/public_html/kherrberr/wp-content/themes/hybrid-news/functions.php on line 27”

Help required: I have just installed a new theme but am now receiving this error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function hybrid_get_prefix() in /home/ucajour1/public_html/mitchell/wp-content/themes/hybrid-news/functions.php on line 27

Now cannot even log in to alter anything…Any ideas?

I was working in my theme, which I loaded yesterday. Was working with plugins (facebook specifically) when I started getting this error message:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare comment_user_details_begin() (previously declared in /home/chipper1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/simple-facebook-connect/sfc-comments.php:284) in /home/chipper1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tp/tp.php on line 560

Now everything is gone! I can’t access the site from anywhere, and the theme doesn’t seem to be installed. Surely I don’t have to start over (wish there was a ‘back’ button!) Help? What did I do?

you have a conflict between 2 plugins SFC, and TP

use FTP or a file manager if your host offers one, and delete one of them.

Yes, read the error message. All the fatal error codes being listed on this page point to a plugin or theme. Delete the plugin or theme

I appreciate that, but don’t see how to delete since I can no longer access anything. I will try going through FTP – I am no expert!

Delete the auto-join-groups plugin via FTP.
