Support » Theme: Atahualpa » 3.7.13 drops edit bar

  • Upgrading 3.7.12 to 3.7.13 resulted in 2 changes (the first to be immediately visible in Firefox 25, maybe there are more).
    1. a new favicon (a ladybug, is that Atahualpa?)
    2. the edit bar that uded to be visible on the top of the page when viewing a website while logged in as admin had disappeared. Is this a bug or a feature, and how can it be restored?

    Yes, we do not see the edit bar either.

    Also, despite exporting settings file and re-importing after upgrade, all header information was missing. I had to remove:

    Style & edit header=>configure header
    %logo %pages %image

    save

    add

    save

    The footer is also gone!!!!!!

    Just go into theme options and re-save. Worked for me.

    Confirmed, only the images have now reset. Also part of the footer is gone, the part where it says powered by wordpress and Athualpa. My part of the footer is back, and so is the admin bar(they are coupled)

    funny my admin bar re-appeared after re-save of footer.

    Help! My edit bar is also gone so I can’t get into the dashboard to make any changes. My header images are also gone. How can I restore my edit bar?

    for header, remove code and save. add code back and save.
    do the same for footer.

    http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=atahualpa-options#
    style header->save
    Style footer->save

    Done 🙂

    Favicon works for client side, but does NOT work in admin side!!!
    Hard coded to wp-content/themes/atahualpa/images/favicon/6-favicon.ico

    go to ato->Style & edit HEADER AREA and press ‘Save Changes’ and
    go to ato->Style & edit FOOTER and press ‘Save Changes’

    @leisuremike: It is considered impolite to interrupt another poster’s ongoing thread unless you are posting a solution or suggestion. It causes significant problems for the forum’s volunteers and prevents us from being able to track issues by topic. Please post your own topic.

    I am offering solutions.

    @esmi: I don’t see what gnosis_wp has interrupted. All his posts are connected to the OP’s post, either complementing the issue, or solving it. The same for my posts. The only thing is that I see a couple of redundant double posts, which you can delete(I can’t seem to delite my posts that starts with an URL), same for juggledad’s post.
