  • Hi i have installed this theme and cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the images to go above and below the navigation. Any clues as to how i do it like the demo?

    Thanks

  • There are thousands of WordPress themes – which means that many people won’t be familiar with your particular theme. So a link to your site might help.

I actually meant your site – not a link to a theme demo.

    oh god….feel a dope now 🙁 sorry

    my site is http://www.daniellemuir.x10hosting.com

There is nothing on it at the moment though.

    Thankyou

    Ah…

What exactly is it that you’re trying to do. If I understand your original post correctly, I’m not sure that the theme you have chosen is right for you. Well – not without a lot of modifications. And that’s not going to be an easy theme to modify.

oh 🙁 i liked that one. I liked how the images display on the home page. Why is it not right for me? sorry if i ask too many questions im trying to learn all this…the last time i made a website i was using dreamweaver and it was weeeyyyyy before blogs came along so its all very new.

It is a blog which is going to be used mainly for photography, text posts and possibly also some moving image media that i am doing for my digital media unit for university. If that helps any.

Is there anything you can recommend that will work better for me? I have to use some basic knowledge of editing code for my project so it will have to be something that i will need to edit somewhere in the coding.

Why is it not right for me?

You seemed to want to change the image display. If I’ve misunderstood and you’re simply trying to figure out how to get any images to display, have you tried creating a few posts that contain images? The home page display is created by pulling your most recent posts and displaying images from them.

that is what i am trying to do……so i will be ok to use it yes?
I made a post with a two images on and they did not appear….will i have to make more than one? I did that to try test it. Because from what i could see the get the image plug in on the images.php edit is that that pulls images from posts and puts them on the homepage? right?

I’m not that familiar with that particular theme. You might want to look through the theme files for a README that contains basic instructions. Or see if there’s a FAQ in your Graph Paper Press account area.

You need to set the thumbnails for the images to show up on the main index page.

    Hi danielle,
I am also trying to use this theme.
I really can’t figure out how to edit it…
    Any ideas?

Hi i didnt exactly edit it at all lol i just wanted to know how to add thumbnails to the home screen. There is a menu at the bottom right of the post screen that u can choose a thumbnail on.
I got in touch with the guy who runs this site http://maestroilluminist.com/ and he was pretty helpful.

The “Tagline” under “General” settings works great on the main page of my website (using the Fullscreen theme). But the tagline gets cut off on any internal pages. Here are examples of both:

    http://cosika.com/?page_id=55

What I would like to be able to do is remove the tagline from the pages, but keep it on the from page of my website. How can I do this?

    Thanks very much in advance!
