Display WP posts on third-party site.

    Hello

    Apologies if this question has been asked before.. I search the forums and the plug-ins directory and could not find a solution.

    I have WP-hosted blog. How can pull out the latest post (or it’s excerpt) and display it on a third-party site hosted on a totally different server? Kinda like how you can display your WP blog within your Linked-In profile page.

    My suggestion would be to use the RSS Feed that is generated by the WordPress site and parse the data using PHP. I am not sure if you have experience working with PHP but this will be the easiest way to do what you need. You can probably display the whole post or just create an excerpt of the post.

    Thanks for the follow up! Was hoping there was some widget available as per Twitter. 🙂

    Am familiar with a couple of server side languages will give them a shot.
