How do I get Timthumb to show images from NextGEN?

    I recently bought a theme using the timthumb script for featured header posts and a sidebar widget (Magnet by wpzoom) to use when re-designing my site.

    The problem is, I use NextGEN gallery instead of the default wp uploads folder for all of my image media (site has hundreds of images already linked, so switching to the default isn’t really an option I can take).

    Does anyone out there know of something I can do to point the script towards the right folder (/wp-content/gallery) rather than the default? I’ve scoured the net and found nothing that helps.

    Anyone?
