# 3.5.2 login problems

 * i am not able to login to my admin side of the site. Once i enter my username
   and pwd, it comes back to the login screen with no error messages.
 * and when i type mysitename.com.au/wp-admin, it gets redirected to:
 * [http://amysbakehouse.com.au/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amysbakehouse.com.au%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1](http://amysbakehouse.com.au/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amysbakehouse.com.au%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1)
 * the site is still under construction and it is still live for whatever i have
   built so far…
 * please help… urgent…

    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder
   inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using
   [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) or whatever file management application
   your host provides.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

 * Thanks for taking time to reply. I am not an expert. Hence the following follow-
   up queries:
 * 1. for one of my other sites, the theme is the default theme. but the error is
   still there.
 * 2. how do you suggest that i reset the plugins folder. (i know how to access 
   it)?
 * i have poured over a lot of content on this site about these errors. is there
   a new release of wp coming along soon?
