Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 10998857 bytes) in /home/blurayau/public_html/blog/wp-includes/class-phpmailer.php on line 1238

  • Hi Mike,

I have recently taken over the development of the BackUpWordpress Plugin.

It looks to me like you are hitting a memory limit when the plugin attempts to email you your backup file.

Are your average backup files larger than 30mb?

If so then you might want to try raising your memory limit even higher (make it higher than the size of your backup file).

Let me know if this fixes the issue.

How do I raise the memory limit?

I’ve changed the “Yes, send me my backups as long as they are smaller than x MB (megabytes)” to 100MB under Mail Setup options for the plugin.

Full backup size just under 40mb.
