Can’t see my plugins after 2.9 upgrade

    All my plugins are disabled and i can’t see them. If i create a new empty plugins folder i must install the plugin in order to see it. If i just move a plugin folder to the plugins folder wordpress doesn’t see it. Looks like wordpress has stoped scanning the plugins folder. any idea?

    Not sure but the plugins are not showing up in a blog of a friend I am trying to help either. They are their in the folder but they wordpress doesn’t see them. I am not sure why this is but even if I install them they do no show up. Would this be because of soe incomplete installation?
