• Hello All,

I have done an upgrade to 2.9 (from 2.8.4 or 2.8.6, can’t remember).

    I know get errors

WordPress database error: [Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_general_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation ‘=’]
    SELECT aiwp_redirection_items.*,aiwp_redirection_groups.tracking,aiwp_redirection_modules.id AS module_id FROM aiwp_redirection_items INNER JOIN aiwp_redirection_groups ON aiwp_redirection_groups.id=aiwp_redirection_items.group_id AND aiwp_redirection_groups.status=’enabled’ INNER JOIN aiwp_redirection_modules ON aiwp_redirection_modules.id=aiwp_redirection_groups.module_id AND aiwp_redirection_modules.type=’wp’ WHERE (aiwp_redirection_items.regex=1 OR aiwp_redirection_items.url=’/five-elements-japanese-philosophy-godai-%e4%ba%94%e5%a4%a7/’ OR aiwp_redirection_items.url=’/five-elements-japanese-philosophy-godai-五大/’) ORDER BY aiwp_redirection_groups.position,aiwp_redirection_items.position

Which looks like it is caused because I have Japanese characters in the address.

Did 2.9 Mess up with the DB? All was fine before the upgrade, including Japanese characters.

    What is the fix? 😉

    Please help! Many thanks!

    Y
