    I’m new to all of this editing stuff..but I was hoping to figure out how to make the width of my post wider. I’ve tryed going in and playing around with the numbers in the stylesheet but I cant get anything to move unless I change the width in the “structure” section

    /* =structure */
    body{background-color:#FFF;color:#444;font:1.4em/1.6 “Hoefler Text”, “Georgia”, Georgia, serif, sans-serif;margin:0;padding:0}
    #wrapper{padding:0;margin:0 auto;width:900px;position:relative;display:block}

    But I don’t want the either site getting wider I just want the posts wider… any ideas on how I can do this? Thanks

    sorry I’ll try to clarify my question.

    I want to make my posts wider without making the Home page wider. How can I change the code to make the posts wider?

    do you want just the post section to be wider (so the sidebar narrower) or the entire page that the posts are on wider? I’ve made my entire site 1000px wide, but I don’t think you can make JUST a post page wider leaving the rest the same 800. But check out the style sheet in the post section. There’s a width for the post and another width for the sidebar/meta area. They add to 800 the way it comes, you can shift that balance if that’s what you’re after.

    Yes this is what I want (thanks for putting it in better words for me). I cant find where the width for the sidebar/meta are is located…I keep seeing something called “entry-meta” but I wasn’t sure if that is the sidebar. Could you tell me what section it is located in?
    (e.g. /* =page */ or /* =single */)?

    I am having this same issue. I got rid of the meta info, and would like to expand the post area into the space that previously occupied. I’ve tried playing with all the different widths that I can find, but have had no luck. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Same here. And . . . why is this post labeled “[resolved],” when it clearly is not?

    Im having the same trouble, please, someone help…

    I cannot find the sidebar code in my style.css

    I do a search for sidebar and nothing comes up, I went through it myself and nothing..

    Thanks
