# 3.4.2 install fail

 * Could not copy file.: /home/xxx/public_html/XXX/wp-admin/admin.php
 * Installation failed
 * However it says it is running 3.4.2 despite the failure advice.
 * Layout of the pages is corrupted and I can’t see any page content when I go to
   edit. This is serious trouble for me…

 * Did manual install ..
 * Some improvement, the functionality is there now, but the screen display for 
   dashboard – and all admin pages – is distorted, like columns aren’t working –
   this is weird

 * It fixed itself overnight, maybe (but not sure) a browser problem.
 * I cleared cache and all good for now.
