• Ok folks, thank you in advance for any help/suggestions you may offer. I’ve started a new site – http://www.floridamortgageconnection.com which is using a blog theme but isn’t really a blog. I am in the process of learning html/css but until I get competent with that I think the blog themes will work fine. I’m not sold on the current theme, so for now disregard the ascetic value that it may or may not have.
I cannot, however, seem to figure out how to set this page up the way I’d like. So, here’s a few things I’m interested in do and am looking to the community here for help. Again, thanks for any help or suggestions you have.
In the column down the right side, it currently displays as such:
    • Welcome message
    • Pages
    • Florida Realtors
    • Real Estate Services
    • Tags
As it is now, the Florida Realtors and Real Estate Services are only titles of the boxes as shown.
What I’d prefer, and I’m sure there’s a way – I just can’t figure it out, is for it to show more like this:
    • Welcome Message
    • Pages
    • Links
    o Florida Realtors
    o Real Estate Services
    • Tags
Florida Realtors and Real Estate Services would actually be active links and when clicked, they’d be taken to another page – in the left column and upon this page would be all my links.
That’s what I have envisioned but I’m not absolutely married to this idea – I’m open to suggestions if there’s a better way. I already know that I could do this by using the “Pages” section of the dashboard, but I already have the pages I want. I’d prefer the links, of which I plan on having many, to be laid out as described unless someone has a better solution.

Another thing I’d like to ad is the little twitter “follow me” birdie thing that many folks have. Do I need to find a theme that supports that built-in, or is it possible to edit this theme, for example, and add it?
    Again, thanks for any help.

So you want the heading to be “Links” right and Florida Realtors and Real Estate Services to be links within this section?

Is your theme Widget Ready? E.G If you go into your Admin Dashboard, and click Widgets on the left, there should be a section called “Links” you can drag over, drag this over to your sidebar, and remove them 2 other sections (Florida Realtors and Real Estate Services) as you won’t need them any more.

Then you just go to the links section in your dashboard and add these 2 as links and they’ll show up in the links section in your sidebar.

As for the Twitter Section you could either add it yourself, just drag a plain text widget over and add in the code you want, or else install a plugin (i’m sure there will be tons around)
