Page templates disappeared after upgrade

I have exactly the same problem. Yikes!

Yes, I have an attributes section. It only contains the parent and order attributes.

I disabled all plugins to rule out a conflict there. Nada. Not sure what else to look at. I’ll check my PHP logs.

Finally, I found someone who had the same problem and fixed it. Just activate a different plugin and then activate your current one again. It happened for him on 2.7. Me on 2.8.

It’s also worth noting that, this problem can also arise if you accidentally create two page templates with the same name / identifier at the beginning of the code, therefore if the above solution does not resolve your problem, try checking your page template files.
