There should be a readme in the theme folder giving instructions. Usually when your writing a post you’ll use a custom field with a key name that the theme developer gives you in the readme.
Which theme is it? Most of these slide functions would require you to enter info on the custom field of the post, like the address of the image.
Have you looked in any Readme file that may have come with the theme? Have you tried looking for a FAQ on the theme? Or visited the theme developer’s site?

It is the Arras Theme. I get lost after step 4 and I am not sure where the option is for step five…
Any help? Here are the 4 and 5 steps
4.Once you have successfully uploaded your image, click on File URL and copy the URL that is generated at the Link URL field.
5.Create a custom field with the name set as thumb (default) and paste the URL into the value field.
