• I get this error when I try to deactivate and delete the seo ultimate plugin

    Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /mnt/htdocs/mailing-lists-broker/wp-content/plugins/seo-ultimate/functions.php on line 159

    The code on line 159 is

    $seo_ultimate->uninstall();

    Any ideas why this is happening?

    Thanks,

    Brian

  • Ftp into your site and delete the wp-content/plugins/seo-ultimate folder.

    @bigwavemaui: Are you using the latest version of SEO Ultimate? If not, please upgrade then try again. If you are using the latest version and you’re still having a problem, please let me know so I can look into it. Thanks.

    Hi, I get the same error and I’m using the last version.

    By the way, I’m trying to uninstall it because I upgraded a couple of days ago and since that my site became super slow (http://www.extremovertical.com/)

    Should I just delete all files in the plug in dir?
    Thanks in advance

    This error is now fixed in version 1.5.2 and newer.

    Yes, deleting the files will work, but the database entries will stay behind. Deleting the plugin from within the WordPress plugin control panel will result in a complete uninstallation.

    @equevedo: I’m sorry that your site slowed down. What version were you using before you upgraded, and what version did you upgrade to which seemed to cause the speed difference?
