two blogs one install

    I am setting up a community site using WP and was wondering if it was possible to have blogs running at once off of one install. I know several ways to do it withthe second blog running in the same directory as the install. but is it possible to run one blog in the main directory and another blog in say a sub directory.

    The opt-in front page plugin lets you to use WordPress as a multiblog platform:

    * Create one category per user, or topic, whatever (your “blogs�)
    * At your option, use the front page to opt-in all posts from all blogs, or as a separate blog with the more important stuff only
    * Using your ‘blog’ category as the default category will make it easier to maintain
