• Hi!

I have a domain with several blogs under it, http://www.domain.com/hello1, /hello2 etc. http://www.domain.com is redirected to /hello1 for the time being.

Now I want to create a new wordpress-blog in my root-folder, but I’m a bit afraid to mess around in it (I don’t want to screw up any already existing blogs by uploading wordpress in the root-folders where they are located). I thought I could solve it by creating a new folder in root (/mainsite), installing wordpress, and set in the wordpress setup that it should redirect itself to http://www.domain.com. But no. When I did that my browser just displayed the root with all its folders in plain text. So I had to redirect the root to /hello1 again.

How can I do this? I GUESS you could just install wordpress directly into root, but as I said, I’m afraid that’s gonna screw up .htaccess.

    Please help! 🙂
