• Hi, I’m new to WordPress.

I need to display images instead of the typical text-links that appear in my list of Pages in the sidebar.

Does any helpful soul out there know how to accomplish this? I’ve search the web extensively but can’t find anything. So any help is greatly appreciated.

  • You can use the very versatile ‘Text’ widget. You drag that into the side bar.

To display an image which is a link: this you can build (prepare) in the html editor for Pages or Posts and then copy the html code to your ‘Text’ widget.

Thank you! It works fine. But I also need to have a onmouseover function on my images in the sidebar. Unfortunately the Text widget doesn’t support scripts… Is there another way to add a onouseover feature that will change my images when the cursor is over them?
