• tevine disabled his forums so support there is finished πŸ™

    I have a problem getting the amount of votes cast on an article to show.

    Using as the readme.txt says:
    GetVotes($post_ID) Returns the number of votes associated with the post.

    <?php echo GetVotes($post_ID); ?>

    or

    <?php GetVotes($post_ID); ?>

    returns:
    You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' '', '', '', '')' at line 1

    anyone have similar problems or better yet, a solution? I’m no expert at solving it πŸ™

    upgraded to latest version ‘vote it up’ 1.2.2 and even more errors.

    The only thing that works by the look of it are the vote count and button and the widget, something has gone wrong with the function codes described in the readme.txt. Anyone have this working 100%? it seems support is dead for this otherwise fantastic plugin πŸ™
    Cant pull an array of user ID’s anymore or display the vote count via template code. Damn.

    <?php GetVotes($post_ID); ?>

    Notice: Undefined variable: post_ID in C:\xampp\htdocs\server\old\wp-content\themes\default\single.php on line 24

    Do you know, did anyone find a solution to the Vote It Up? It is the best on that suits my site and preferences. I am now having to use another voting plug in but it is not the same…loved the most voted all time side bar widget. Such a shame it is no longer supported.
