 * Hello All,
I heard new WP **3.4** will be released in May. the project I am
working on would also take another 1 month to complete. 1- What if I test and
develop with **3.4 beta versions** now. And when **WP 3.4** is finally released
then i can switch to that. _But will that be more stable then using 3.3.1 ?_
2- Will WP 3.3.1 still be good enough for next few years ? 3- Will all my tested
plugins of 3.3.1 will work instantly for 3.4 ? 4- The project I am working on
has **multisite** and **multinetwork **involved. But I didn’t find any changes
in this field in ver 3.4. Do you know anything more on it. Sorry for some irrelevant
questions, I am new to WordPress and want to confirm these before I make any
   mistakes. thank you

 * The best bet is for you to test them under 3.4 to be sure, and make sure all
functionality is the same. It’s a good idea to start before it is released, and
after the final version is out as well, to be sure that you caught everything.
 * Chances are, with the changes being made, nothing of normal functionality should
change between releases. 3.3.1 isn’t too far off from 3.4, and the core is still
relatively unchanged. The only way to know for certain is to test under a variety
of circumstances in any case, whether the current version or not.
 * It’s always best to update your install when a new one is released for security
   purposes at least anyway.

 * That’s an unqualified _maybe_. There are a lot of plugins out there and not all
of them are well written or even maintained.
 * As davidjlaietta suggested, test with the 3.4 beta to see if there are any compatibility
   issues right now.

 * No. Maybe months, but since it won’t get ANY new updates, bug fixes, etc, it’s
   risky.

 * Nothing major. I’m running 3.4 right now and have Multisite and Multinetwork.
   No issues 🙂

davidjlaietta, Jan Dembowski and Ipstenu I have decided to test with
ver 3.4 beta, this will be a better idea. Also I would forum post the problems,
results and fixes I come across.
