• I am new to all of this and just found Artisteer and am using a trial account before making my decision to use it or not.

    1. Is the code written by it over bloated?
    2. Is the code written by it not search engine friendly?
    3. Will I have any problems creating the basic look-and-feel of the site in this program and then customizing parts of the design and code later?
    4. Are there any issues with designing sites using this program?

    Thanks.

  • Hi Stanwelks,

I have the Artisteer Home Edition. Pretty happy with it from a design point of view; I got it because I’m a designer, not a coder – and boy have I learned a bit about coding. LOL

The biggest issue I’m having right now (that I have no idea how to resolve) is that IE 6/7 and AOL visitors can’t access the site. HUGE problem. It works like a dream in FF, Safari, Chrome, iPhone, IE 8… sigh.

    Here’s a look-see if you want to take a look: http://www.miracolirosaries.com

If/when I figure out the browser issue, I’ll post it here.

    HTH a bit.

I tried to use Artisteer, but it was not compatible with Calendar and a couple of other plugins I tried. Especially messed up sidebar widget displays. I couldn’t use it.

Great site you created there gr8bskt.

If/when I figure out the browser issue, I’ll post it here.

I was just wondering if the for IE 6/7 and AOL issue has been resolved?

    Cheers

@gr8bskt have you found a solution re AOL and IE6/7 with Artisteer?
