• Using WordPress MU 2.8.4a and whatever version of NextGen is that I downloaded yesterday (the About box doesn’t give a version # — but isn’t that the main point of an About box?)…

When trying to upload an image, WP throws the following error:

    "Error: image.jpg:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function wpmu_enable_function() in /home/username/public_html/wpmu/wp-content/plugins/nggallery/admin/functions.php on line 841"

And this error message disappears so quickly, I had to capture the screen with Camtasia just to read it!

Then it throws an error that does stay long enough to read:
"Directory /home/username/public_html/wpmu/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/mygallery contains no pictures." Well, duh.

    Has anyone else encountered this?

After uninstalling and re-installing the plugin, I can upload images if I disable the Flash uploader. The Flash didn’t see the upload directory (listed above), even if I set permissions to 777.
