• Hello,
Is there a way to batch modify permalinks?

We have set up a new WP installation (not yet live) and loaded some data to it. Then we have have gone through a process of modifying post titles. This has resulted in permalinks which use the original post title and not the modified post title. Since nothing has been indexed yet, I thought it better to make the permalinks sync with post titles.
I can do that by individuall editing permalinks but it would be easier if there were a batch routine to do it.

Anyone know of anything out there which can do this. I’m not looking for redirect plugins but rather something which updates DB the same as a manual edit would.

    Thanks

Do you konw classic php and mysql programming? I think a peice of code will solve your problem.

yes I do but that means understanding the database structure 100% and I was hoping that there might be a module already available which would save me time.

But any hints on what needs to be done would be helpful.
