  • My permalink structure on a blog i’ve setup is

    /%post_id%/%postname%.html

On static pages and direct links to posts, everything is working fine.

The problem occurs when i click a category, and note that this happens only in IE 6. Example,

    http://domain.com/category/brown-bears

IE would initially load the page and i can still see the posts listed, then it continues loading, with the loading indicator below saying – X items remaining, but finally it goes to a 404 File Not Found error.

At times it does not error out to a 404, but loads the page and stops. But the page looks like some parts are missing. Weird color in the background as if it didn’t really load in full.

This does not happen on Firefox, Chrome and Opera. It is unique to IE 6 only.

I can’t go back to the default url structure, it’s too ugly. Any help/explanation on this?

    Thanks!
