# 3.1.6 update notes

 * The latest version, 3.1.6 has a few significant changes:
    - auto updates are enabled again by default
    - the “lite” version of the browscap database is being used by default
    - several new filters are available if you want to change these settings
    - Please report any issues. Thanks. Pull requests are also welcome on the GitHub
      project.
 * The new filters are:
 * `php_browser_detection_cache_dir`, the cache folder location
    `php_browser_detection_autoupdate`,
   Boolean, whether or not to autoupdate `php_browser_detection_cache_time`, cache
   time in seconds, default 30 days `php_browser_detection_version`, URL to the 
   browscap DB to use, default is “[http://browscap.org/stream?q=Lite_PHP_BrowsCapINI&#8221](http://browscap.org/stream?q=Lite_PHP_BrowsCapINI&#8221);
